The Company
Barber & Bonds Ltd is a subcontract precision engineering company housed in a 4000 sq. ft. factory in Maldon, Essex. The company is proud to supply precision machined components and fabrications to clients across the UK, Europe & USA.
A strong focus on lean production and cost-effective manufacturing processes ensures our ability to offer high quality products and service at a competitive price. We are able to source and machine a multitude of materials including mild steel, stainless steel, aluminium, bronze, brass, copper, engineering plastics, model board and much more.
Our team of engineers have a combined wealth of over 150 years knowledge working in our industry, key to providing us with the best machining methods which benefits both us and our customers alike.
Drawings & Models
We are able to machine from both standard 2D engineering drawings and 3D models. The latest version of EdgeCam CAD/CAM and Autodesk Fusion360 software gives customers the opportunity to send in 3D models in formats such as DXF/DWG/IGES/STEP which can be programmed offline with machine codes sent directly to our DNC linked machine tools.
